HC Computer Security Services is a one-person firm based in San Antonio. Every job is handled directly by a certified specialist with hands-on experience in malware analysis, Incident Response, and data recovery.
I started HC Computer Security Services because the people who needed real help — individuals with a failing hard drive, small business owners hit by ransomware, families dealing with a compromised device — couldn’t find someone who would sit down with them, tell them the truth, and actually fix the problem.
I hold a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, alongside six active professional certifications: GCFA, GNFA, GCFE, and GREM from SANS/GIAC, and OSCP and OSEP from Offensive Security. These aren’t vendor certifications — they’re rigorous, hands-on credentials that require passing a real technical exam, not a multiple-choice test.
When you work with HC Computer Security Services, you work with me directly. I do every investigation, every recovery attempt, every malware removal. I explain what I found in plain English. I give you a written quote before I start. And if I can’t help you, I tell you that too.
I’m available evenings and weekends because that’s when most people need help. A ransomware attack doesn’t wait until Monday morning. Deleted files on a hard drive on Saturday night is just as urgent as one deleted on a weekday.
If you’re not sure whether I can help you, send me a message. I’ll reply within 24 hours with an honest answer.
SANS/GIAC and Offensive Security credentials require passing a hands-on, practical exam — not a multiple-choice test. They’re renewed on a regular cycle.
Every data recovery and access job requires proof of ownership or legal authority before work begins. This protects you — it means no one can bring in your device and have me hand your data to them. It also means I can produce documentation that stands up if your case ever goes to court or an insurance claim.
Four things worth knowing before you reach out.
A one-specialist firm. When you work with HC Computer Security Services, you work directly with the certified specialist who does the work — not a call center, not a reseller.
The best way to start is a short message or call. I'll tell you honestly within 24 hours whether I can help, what it would involve, and what it would cost.
File and data recovery, drive imaging, encrypted container access, and deleted-file forensics. All recovery work requires proof of ownership or legal authority before work begins.
Everything you share stays confidential. I don't sell or share client information. A formal NDA is available on any engagement — just ask.
