Rescuing Critical Data from Degraded Systems
Canyon Lake's mix of remote residential properties, local real estate firms, and hospitality businesses often means crucial data is stored locally. Whether you are managing guest logs on a local server, maintaining real estate databases, or storing years of family archives on a home NAS (Network Attached Storage) system, hardware failure can be devastating.
Our mission is data rescue. We do not repair, rebuild, or refurbish damaged hardware. Instead, HC Computer Security Services uses offline forensic imaging to safely extract your uncorrupted files from the dying drives, preserving your digital assets before total hardware collapse.
Specialized Extraction Services
- NAS & RAID Degradation: If a drive in your home or business NAS enclosure begins to fail, attempting to rebuild the array incorrectly can wipe everything. We image the individual drives safely to carve out the surviving data blocks.
- Raw Binary Carving: When power surges or environmental factors destroy the logical map (MFT) of a drive, the operating system will claim the drive is "empty" or "unformatted." We bypass the OS entirely to reconstruct files directly from the raw disk sectors.
- Proprietary Application Recovery: We utilize advanced engineering in industry-standard tools to retrieve non-standard files, such as specialized booking software databases, marina logistics logs, and CAD files.
Immediate Action Required
If a drive is emitting clicking or grinding noises, or if a NAS system is warning of multiple drive dropouts, disconnect the power immediately. Continued operation will permanently overwrite or physically score the data platters. Contact our laboratory for safe handling instructions.
